Iron mold sand casting process: It is a process of covering a metal mold (iron mold) with 5-8mm layer of resin sand to form a mold. It has both the characteristics of metal mold and shell mold casting. Its technological characteristics are: good surface finish of the casting, small machining allowance, and high dimensional accuracy; due to the rapid crystallization and cooling rate of the casting, the crystal grains of the casting are ultra-fine, and due to the rigidity of the iron mold, it can effectively prevent ductile iron graphitization expansion direction during the solidification process makes the internal structure of the casting dense, no shrinkage, no shrinkage defects, and the mechanical properties are significantly improved.
The company focuses on the intermediate frequency electric furnace melting + iron mold sand molding + heat-treatment strengthened iron mold sand casting process. The casting composition is accurately controlled in addition to the five major elements (C: ± 0.04%, Si: ± 0.06%, Mn: ± 0.05%, S: <0.01%, P: <0.035%), with years of grinding, the use of Ni, Sb, Cr and other trace elements has formed Dongxin's unique molten iron distribution ratio technology, and the product material can be stably achieved QT800-3, QT850-5, QT900-5 high performance requirements.
